You can’t edit the domain inside an existing banner. To change it, copy the banner, enter the new domain, and you’re done. (Settings and translations copy over; you can also copy the cookie declaration report.)
If you hit a domain limit, disable the old banner first. You can also share the banner to another account (Plus plan). For special cases, contact support.
Before you start
You cannot edit the domain of an existing banner. You must make a copy.
Decide if you also want to copy the cookie declaration report.
Steps (takes a minute)
Open CookieScript Dashboard → find your banner card.
Click Copy on that banner.
When prompted, enter your new website domain.
(Optional) Choose to copy the cookie declaration report so old cookie domains are replaced with the new one. All settings and translations are copied automatically.
Save. Your new banner now uses the new domain.
If copy is blocked by domain limits
Go to Banner settings → Banner publish for the old banner and Disable it.
Disabled items don’t count toward domain limits → try Copy again.
Moving a banner to another account
Use Banner sharing to share the banner to a different CookieScript account.
Requires the Plus plan.
Need a manual domain change?
Contact support if the domain must be edited directly (for example, when your website is moved).
