How to keep unknown cookies?
Cookie Scanner scans your website and provides a detailed cookie declaration report with automatically categorized cookies, including Third-Party Cookies. Our Cookie Scanner has a pre-build database of cookies, which on average covers 80% of cookies, found on the internet. However, there could be unknown cookies on your website. To prevent unknown cookies from blocking, go to your CookieScript user account > Settings > Behavior > Cookie control, where you will find the KEEP UNKNOWN COOKIES checkbox.
Check this option if you have some unknown cookies that were not found by the Cookie Scanner. For example, your website could have cookies, which are set up only after logging in. With this option enabled, unknown cookies will not be deleted.
If you discard unknown cookies, it will be compliant with all major privacy laws.
