Cookie banner analytics

There are two methods to collect cookie banner analytics: using either CookieScript cookie banner analytics tool or Google Analytics 4. You could use CookieScript cookie banner analytics, Google Analytics 4, or both.

The CookieScript Cookie Banner Analytics allows you to see all necessary user statistics and interactions with the cookie banner elements and Cookie Categories.

To collect Cookie Banner Analytics, go to your CookieScript user account > Settings > Main settings. Here you will find COLLECT COOKIE ANALYTICS. You have two options: either enable or disable it.

1. Enable – Cookie Banner Analytics tool collects data about user behavior on the website.

2. Disable – Disables any Cookie Banner Analytics. Use this option if you do not care about monitoring user behavior. This will reduce the number of requests to our servers.

The Cookie Banner Analytics shows:

• Number of script requests

• Accept, Reject, and Ignore rates of your cookie banner, calculated per user

• Which cookie categories were selected and how often

• How many users actually agreed with your Cookie Policy.
