Cookie banner sharing
CookieScript makes it easy to share your banners with multiple users, providing flexibility and collaboration options. Here's how you can share a banner and manage the permissions effectively.
How to Share a Banner?
There are two methods to share a banner with another user:
Using the Share Button:
Navigate to your CookieScript dashboard and find the Share button on the desired banner. Click it to be redirected to the sharing page, where you can configure sharing details.
Through Banner Settings:
Within the banner's settings, go to the Share section. This will open the sharing page, where you can configure sharing details and permissions.
How to Invite a User?
Enter the user's email address in the Share to Email field.
Enable or disable the Allow Editing option to grant or restrict editing permissions.
Enable or disable the Inform User by Email option to notify the user via email about the shared banner.
Press the Share button to send the invitation
What Happens After Sharing?
If the User is Registered:
An invitation will appear in their CookieScript account, and they will optionally receive an email notification about the shared banner. If the User is Not Registered:
A new CookieScript account will be created automatically for them, and they will receive an email containing login credentials to access the shared banner.
Managing Invitations
After clicking the Share button with the required information, the user will receive an invitation in their CookieScript dashboard. They will have the option to either accept or decline the invitation.
Accepted Invitations:
Once the user accepts, you can view the invitation status, granted permissions, and have the ability to revoke access by pressing the Cancel button.Declined Invitations:
If the user rejects the sharing invitation, they will be automatically removed from your "Shared To" list.
