Keep Google Analytics Cookies

This option is useful if your Google Analytics data gets messed up after installing the CookieScript banner. It is recommended to enable this option if user consent is handled by Google Consent Mode. It will ensure consistent Google Analytics data while keeping your website compliant with privacy regulations.

To keep Google Analytics Cookies on your website, go to your CookieScript user account > Settings > Cookie behavior, where you will find the KEEP GOOGLE ANALYTICS COOKIES checkbox.

Enable this option, if you have issues with data in Google Analytics and Google Consent Mode does not fix it. The cookie banner will keep Google Analytics cookies. It is recommended to anonymize user's IP address when using this choice.
