Show cookie policy link
How to show cookie policy link?
You can show on your cookie banner a link to your Cookie Policy. Go to your CookieScript user account > Settings > Main settings. Here you will find the SHOW COOKIE POLICY LINK.
Check the box SHOW COOKIE POLICY LINK if you want your cookie policy link to be shown as a usual link at the end of the cookie banner description. The user will be directed to your cookie policy after clicking the Cookie Policy link.
You can change the title of the "COOKIE POLICY" LINK TEXT button by entering your text below. This text will be shown right after the description as a link to the cookie policy page. The link is shown in the same paragraph, so it can be combined with the description text to make one sentence.
You can add the reference to your cookie policy at the COOKIE POLICY URL button. The link can be an absolute or relative URL, for example, http://example.com/policy.html or /policy.html
You can also choose how to open your cookie policy by selecting one of the options at the OPEN COOKIE POLICY IN button. If you check āNew windowā, your cookie policy web page will be opened in a new window. If you check āSame windowā, your cookie policy web page will be opened in the same window.
If your website supports multiple languages, you can add translations for each language at the Translation tab. CookieScript will automatically detect the current language and apply translations to the banner elements. Go to Main settings > Translations> Add new translation, where you can add the cookie policy URL depending on the language you have selected:
