Automatic monthly cookie scanning

Scanning of cookies and disclosing them to users is required by privacy laws and helps to build trust with your users.

CookieScript Cookie Scanner automatically scans your website once per month and automatically updates cookie declaration on your Cookie Policy page as well as inside the cookie banner. Free users have scanning pages' limit, while users with paid pricing plans do not have limits for page scanning.

If your website was changed and you don't want to wait until the next automatic cookie scan catches those changes, you can trigger an automatic scan manually from the admin panel. Manual scanning is limited to once in 24 hours.

Note: Beginning in November 2024, automatic monthly cookie scanning will take place within a flexible time window. The scan could occur 5 to 10 days before or after your usual scanning date. For example, if your website is typically scanned on the 1st of the month, it may now be scanned as early as the 25th of the previous month or as late as the 10th of the same month. This adjustment is intended to reduce scanning traffic, resulting in faster scans for your website.

Automatic cookie scanning is included only in Standard and Plus pricing plans. You should enable automatic cookie scanning by ticking adequate checkboxes.
